Zebra Moon Hikers Lodge is an old School Hostel, so we are ideally suited to large School groups.
We can accommodate up to 70 people, although 60 is a more comfortable fit!
We have six dormitories sleeping 5 and two dormitories sleeping 7. There are also six small rooms sleeping two or three which are ideal for staff and facilitators.
We can provide bedding if necessary.There are more than enough toilets,showers and basins.
The kitchen and diningroom are equipped for large groups and most groups choose to self cater. We can provide catering for your group if needed.
Activities for School groups are Outdoor based: hiking; mountain biking and nature appreciation. Zebra Moon is ideally situated as hikes can be started from our doorstep. We have a volleyball pitch and a small porta-pool ( only big enough to cooldown in!)
The Boesmanskloof Hiking Trail (Greyton to McGregor) is very popular with School groups. Read more on our Hiking page and speak to Mark about advice for planning an enjoyable hike.
Genadendal with its amazing Museums is a 7km hike away and should be a part of any School group's itinerary.
Greyton Adventure Programmes( GAP) can provide full facilitated programmes for School groups. Enquire for details and costs.

Greyton Adventure Programmes have a range of activities including farm visits, raft building, river crossing, sheep dog displays, compass orienteeering and team building activities.Horse riding and mountain biking are also popular.
